Glendaruel Bed and Breakfast is a detached bungalow in the scenic village of Aberfoyle . Set in the heart of The Trossachs and Loch Lomond National Park, Glendaruel B & B nestles below Creag Mhor and backs onto an Old Oak Forest.
Less than a 5 minute walk from the centre of Aberfoyle, amidst some breath taking views of Ben Lomond and The Queen Elizabeth Forest Park, the Village has the amenities of shops, pubs, restaurants and the Tourist Information Centre We are an ideal location for outdoor enthusiasts, as a base for touring Scotland, or just somewhere to relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the surroundings.
There are many activities on our door step in and around Aberfoyle. There are miles of paths and tracks for walkers and cyclists to explore and enjoy. Go Ape high wire adventure course, which has the longest zip wire in the UK, is situated at The David Marshal Lodge Forest Visitor Centre just a short walk from Glendaruel and is well worth a visit for an exhilarating experience!
If you are interested in fishing then just a short drive away is Scotland's only Lake, The Lake of Menteith which has boats for hire for a days fishing on the Lake. If you like playing golf Aberfoyle Golf Course is not far and is one of the more challenging courses in the area.
The famous Gleneagles Hotel and Golf Course is only a 40 minute drive from Glendaruel. The Historic Cities of Edinburgh, with its impressive Castle, Glasgow and Stirling are all within an hours drive.
